1. There's no time to think.
2. There's no time to ponder.
3. You have to make a decision now. If you wait a week, the place will be gone to someone else.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate, hate, hate making snap decisions?

I need some chocolate to calm my nerves....

Hmm.. if the market is demanding you make that kind of decision, then you need to have any prerequisite decisions (i.e. how much can I afford) made beforehand. Then you can focus on whether you are interested in making an offer on this particular property. No comparisons, no second guessing, no looking back. A "no" is just as final as a "yes". There's a kind of zen simplicity about it.

Of course we went from just looking one weekend to signing the deal the next weekend on our house. (And, although we didn't know it at the time, we probably did need to move that fast; 'cause the house had been sold earlier but the deal fell through. Right place, right time.)

Heh. You got it. I'm a complete comparision shopper, and I wanna say, maybe I'll look a little more over here, before deciding - that's why this need for speed here is KILLING me. It's just not the way I work. I already know my budget (in three diffrent ways, actually - this much to be completely comfortable, this much to do with some sacrifices, and this much - I could do it, but I'm eating KD for the next 10 years. This particular place falls at the lower end of the middle category).

This one was sold once already, too - the deal fell through on Tuesday, so it was available for me to possibly purchase.
