I bet. I saw a few on Saturday, but I would imagine by Sunday there wasn't a restaurant or bar in the city that didn't have its patio open. It was such a nice day. *g*

Absolut Sharp Cut

Hi, I read your post and noticed your comment about drinking an Absolut Sharp Cut... my question is, are you sure? I thought Absolut only came out with Absolut Cut (blue label), Absolut Clear Cut (Orange), and Absolut Crisp Cut (green label). The Absolut Sharp Cut was illustrated in an ad at one time, but could you possibly have been drinking one of those variations instead? Thanks. http://jesperk.smugmug.com

Oh, it was definitely Sharp Cut. If you note the date on this post, that was 4 1/2 years ago, and as far as I know it was only offered here in Ontario that summer. I loved it, and drank it all that summer, but I haven't been able to find it since. I believe the label was white, but I could be wrong about that.

Absolut just confirmed... the Sharp Cut was indeed released in Canada some years ago... too bad you didn't keep any, you could probably sell one for close to $2,000 on today's market. I just sold a Crisp Cut on eBay for close to that amount. Just imagine, you were drinking them like a regular soda, and today you could have made a fortune had you kept a couple of extras.
