M's looking for a roommate, to share the house he rents out near Cambridge, Ontario. Well, it's actually on Clyde Road, in North Dumfreys, right before the "Welcome to Cambridge" sign. The house is about a 5 minute walk back from the road, down a private laneway, so it's very quiet, and very secluded.
He's looking for someone to rent out the upper level of the house, which has two rooms and a bathroom with a tub (but no shower). There is access to the shower in the bathroom off M's bedroom, though. There's shared access to the main living room, dining room & kitchen, and it includes parking and laundry on-site.
The house is part of the Grand River Conservation Authority, and comes with access to the trails in the Shady Mills Conservation Area, so it's great for anyone who likes to cross-country ski (backdoor access to the groomed ski trails, all winter) or bike in summer. There's a built in BBQ, and a bonfire pit, and all kinda of great-outdoorsy stuff. Wanna see a deer give birth on the front lawn? It's happened (can't guarantee it's gonna happen again, though. *g*). Watch a den of fox cubs grow up? Done that, too.
There is currently a cat in the house, and two large dogs (Alaskan Malamutes) live there part time. Any other pets are welcome, as long as they can get along with the dogs. The dogs are very friendly towards people and most other animals. Small dogs with Napoleon complexes don't tend to like them, though, because they're too big. *g*
He's asking $500 a month, which includes Hydro. Oh, and it's available pretty much immediately.
