I think I'm alone now

From the
altfriday5:
1. How much time do you typically spend alone* each day? Each week?
Each day? Three to four hours, most weekday evenings, I think. Very little, on the weekends. Probably around 20 hours a week.
2. Would you like more or less alone time?
I like my balance pretty well, right now. In order to have more alone time, I'd pretty much have to stop spending my weekends with M, and he's definitely worth giving up my alone time for. *g*
3. What do you typically do during your alone time? (Or, if you don't get any, what would you do?)
Read. Watch TV. Surf the internet. Walk in the park. Play with the cat. Knit. Even driving alone works for me as a refresher.
4. How much time did you typically spend alone as a child? Did you want more or less alone time?
Oodles and oodles. I spent a lot of time in my room, reading, as a child. I played with other kids, sure, but my favorite way to spend a Saturday morning, for instance, was in my room with my door closed, reading a book and listening to the American Top 40.
5. How does being alone usually make you feel? Refreshed? Antsy?
Relaxed and refreshed. I know I need to spend a little more time by myself whenever I start getting really antsy and anxious. another sign When I start looking for excuses not to do stuff that's been planned because I just wanna go home and play with my cat.
6. Bonus question! Did you recognize the song lyric quoted in the title of this entry?
Yup! And I even know who sang it. In fact, I think I have the album, somewhere... (Should I admit that?)
*alone = all by yourself, with no one else around (not "by yourself in a crowd")
