Lesson Number One..
Jun. 9th, 2005 02:31 pmI took the afternoon off yesterday, to run a couple of errands/go to the doctor/do a little pampering. The Spa at Elmwood? Is a niiice place.
One thing I've learned, though...If you're going to have a nice, relaxing massage? Don't be carrying around a purse/satchel that probably weighs a good twenty pounds, and then spend a couple of hours walking around the city. By the time I got home, my previously-nicely-relaxed back was screaming at me. On the plus side, I do have pretty, sparkly nails, and they didn't go away as quickly. I like getting a manicure. Many thanks to
mycrazyhair for the gift certificate for them both, and for the company during the later part of the day. It was fun!
I find myself wondering, though, what it would be like to have that as a lifestyle. Mornings at the gym, afternoons at the Spa, and dinner out with a friend for some laughter and girl talk in the evening. Yesterday was great, but would it get boring eventually? Or should I have just been born independently wealthy? *g*
