Playing with formats

I really like some of the new LJ formats available. I've switched over to FlexibleSquares, and I like the cleanness of the layout. Plus, for the first time, I've actually put in my own colour scheme! I based it on Pink Punk, but changed all the pinks to blues.

Playing with LJ setup is necessary every once in a while, I think. It's a kinda spring cleaning for my on-line home. *g*

Hmmm. I like it. But I think that reading it for extended periods of time might be headache-inducing.

Which part? (seriously, I mean). The black text on light blue works fine for me, but is that just me? Is it the bright blue around the outside that would cause the problem? Or the sharp edges?

The bright blue on black in the comment section might be a problem, but I figured nobody actually reads that over and over, so it wouldn't be likely to cause issues.

I think the bright blue against the black, and even just the bright blue edging, is what's causing me problems. It matches your user pic nicely, but is maybe a bit too much.

I really like it - but then again, anything other than that horrendous grey is an improvement :-) That was so hard to write in!!

I've softened the blue around the edges a bit, and I think that even solved the headache-inducing glare mycrazyhair noted yesterday. I like the result - I may stick with this one a while.
