Buffy Meme
May. 22nd, 2003 08:34 pm1. Name your favorite character ever. Yes. You can only pick one. Maybe two:
That's hard - I think I'm going to have to go with Oz, just for the coolness factor.
My second one? Faith
2. Give one line you love:
Buffy: "I didn't jump to conclusions. I took a tiny step, and there conclusions were." I've been waiting for years to actually work that into a conversation. Apparently, I don't do much conclusion-jumping, 'cause no-one ever gives me the straight line.
3. Favorite three episodes. Maybe five:
Becoming II - still makes me cry, after seeing it dozens of times
Hush - 'cause, well, creepy
Passion - Angelus' speech, while watching Buffy through the window - shivers, every time. Jenny's death shocked me. Major supporting characters don't die, on TV.
Prophecy Girl - this is the one that got me hooked. I'd been intrigued through most of the first season, but this is the one that convinced me that not only was I going to watch every show, I wwas going to be taping them all, and keeping the tapes. Another station in the area started with "Welcome to the Hellmouth" the next week, so I do have them all on tape.
Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered - just a whole lot of fun.
4. Favorite villain:
Spike/Dru/Angelus - can I count them as one?
5. Favorite song used in a scene:
Michelle Branch's "Goodbye To You" at the end of "Tabula Rasa". It just broke my heart, watching Tara pack and leave, and the music really suited the scene.
6. Favorite season:
Season 2, definitely. For the leather pants, alone.
7. Scariest episode:
Oh, that's easy. "Hush" just freaked me out.
8. Best kiss/sex scene/romantic whatever... it can be tame or not:
The Willow/Tara scene at the end of "New Moon Rising"
9. Favorite relationship (of any kind):
My first reaction was Xander/Cordelia. Actually, now that I think about it - if I'm not limited to romantic relationship, I've gotta say, Buffy/Giles. I really liked the father/daughter dynamic between them, up until season 5.
10. Set/location you'll miss the most:
The original Sunnydale High library.
That was fun.
