Walking on Sunshine

Every year, I forget just how badly SAD affects me. Until we have a day like today.

I've spent the last month being sad, and bored, and restless, and just generally...gloomy. Today, I went outside at lunchtime, and I could not stop smiling. Days like this - blue sky everywhere, warm enough that only a light jacket is needed, and looking like spring may actually get here soon - days like this make me happy.

Even the radio station I was listening to was helping. I heard Red, Red, Wine, Life is a Highway and Walking on Sunshine while I was out, all "summertime" songs in my head.

I think today is a Good Day.

Doesn't it just, though? The rain forecast for tomorrow doesn't even depress me, since it comes with a projected high of 18 degrees.
