carynbM & I spent the last 4 1/2 hours de-pigeon-shit-ting my balcony, and re-netting it in a little tighter this time. With luck, I'll actually be able to use the balcony this summer. It's not huge, but I'd like to wander out there once in while without being afraid that the toxicity would kill me. *g* And maybe even put some flowers out there, to have a little colour nearby....
The first attempt today took the pigeons 15 minutes to figure out how to get in. 15 minutes! So, we've tightened the attachments of the netting to the bottom of the railing, and blocked off the bottom with cardboard and my step ladder. Hopefully that'll keep them out until I can get some lattice to permanently block off the bottom on Monday.
After that, if they still make it in, I swear I'm investing in a BB Gun.
