1. How impulsive are you?
That kinda depends. I spend money very easily, so impulse buys happen all the time. Although not so much recently, or I'd already have an iPod. Otherwise, not at all. I'm not impulsive about how I spend my time, that's for sure - it can take me hours to decide on where to eat dinner if I'm eating out. *g* I tend to be logical and methodical in just about everything I do.
2. What is the most impulsive thing you've ever done?
Applying for the University of Waterloo. I was already in my third year at MUN (Memorial University of Newfoundland), and no-one had any idea that I was interested in anything other than finishing up my B.Comm. and applying to Med School. I did it as a complete "I wonder if..." kinda thing, and there were a number of things going on in my life that had me thinking life would just be easier if I was far, far away. I didn't even tell my parents that I'd applied until after I'd been accepted, and once I was, the decision was easy. Other than my first Thanksgiving away from home (which was horrible), I've never regretted the decision, either.
3. What is the most unimpulsive (i.e., deliberative) thing you've ever done?
My retirement saving are monthly, and very deliberate. That's Just Not My Money (which is why I won't use it as a down payment for a house/condo, even though I could, technically).
4. How easy do you usually find it to make decisions about what you want to do?
Very difficult. Generally, I weigh pros and cons until its too late for one of the options, and then my mind is made up for me. *g* Who, me? Procrastinate? Never! *g*
5. What was the last impulse that you had? Did you act on it? Why or why not?
Dim Sum for lunch last Monday. And yes, I definitely acted on it. *g* I was craving something different, very badly. And, it was yummy!
