Lazy Weekend (sort of)

So, it was a nice weekend. I managed to get my hair done, which has been on my list of things to do for months. I also discovered the secret to getting an appointment with my hairdresser within a week of calling for an appointment. You want a Saturday appointment, call on Thursday or Friday. That's when the salon has been calling to confirm appointments for the weekend, and have gotten cancellations. The first time I called down there to get an appointment, I had to wait 6 weeks. They generally set up your next appointment as you're leaving (just like the dentist's office), so the 6-week lead time is pretty standard.
Anyway, so I went and finally got my hair cut & re-highlighted after looking like a complete streel for the last couple of months. It's a nice length again, and this time, it's got red in it, instead of just blonde. I like, muchly.
Other than that, I did pretty much nothing, all weekend. Yesterday was very domestic. M & I were sitting on the couch most of the day, him watching football games (and explaining rules to me when I asked), me reading a book. Very quiet, but it was nice, y'know?
