Why did I do this again?

So I'm making a few calls, seeing if I can set up appointments to see apartments tomorrow. Somebody, please tell me why my stomach is one big knot? I can't get this stressed this early in the process, I can't. Why does calling people, just asking about availablity, stress me out so much? I am such a wimp.

I'm probably going to do the same thing I always do, and take the first place I see. The good thing is, the first appointment (or only actually - the other places I've called I either haven't heard back from, or I've gotten a curt "open house tomorrow" response) is for the upper level of an old Victorian house, and it sounds kinda cool. Laundry is shared between the 4 apartments in the house, but other than that, I think it might be okay. And it has a working fireplace!

Well, I guess I'll see how it goes.

If it's really bothering you to call people, pass the info along to me, and I'll make the calls. It bothers me not at all.

Also, have you tried posting to or watching the Toronto community? I believe I've seen apartment listings a couple times when I've browsed by there.
