I've got a feeling that sleep may not be happening tonight. In fact, I think I'm starting to hit the "pre-travel panic" stage.

I have one last (hopefully quick) trip to make to the mall - assuming I can find parking. I'll go the bank lunchtime today - that shouldn't be a problem. I have gifts to wrap, dishes to wash, and a suitcase to pack, hopefully early enough that I can go to bed tonight.

Tomorrow, I have to take the cat to the kennel, and be home in time to get my cab for the airport. I'm just hoping that the storm we're supposed to be getting is a lot smaller than what the forecasts currently say, or it could take me a couple of hours to get to the kennel (generally, about a 15 minute drive), let alone to the airport. I've ordered the cab for 3 1/2 hours before my flight, and right now, I'm just hoping that's enough. Always, of course, assuming that my flight actually happens...

Why, why why do I procrastinate? I coulda gotten the gifts wrapped last night, but noooo. That woulda been one thing done, anyway.

Jeez, I'm pessimistic about this, aren't I? Winter Storm watches on travel days just really stress me out.

Urg. It just started to snow here. I may not make it to the mall this evening after all. I *knew* I should have gone on Monday.

(1) Presents can be wrapped after you get home. Really.

(2) Any chance you could take the cat today instead of tomorrow? Then you wouldn't have as much panic.

(3) No one is going to freak if they get a promissory note instead of a present in their parcel. And then you can pick stuff up on sale. *g*

The good news is, I got enough done lunch time that the trip to the mall tonight is now optional. It would still be a good thing to do, but if the weather turns crappy, I can just go home.

The only problem with wrapping at home is finding the wrapping paper. *g* I won't have access to Mom's big box'o'stuff, since that's still in storage somewhere. And, Krista's definitely needs to be wrapped, since we'll be sharing a room. Some stuff could be put off, though, that's for sure. I'll get Krista's done first, and then I'll do the rest if I have time.

Okay. I'm calmer now. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they sell wrapping paper in NF. Calm down and breathe.

Okay. I'm calmer now.

Good.
