Home again, home again
Jul. 9th, 2004 09:46 amWell, I'm back. And caught up on my friends list, even.
Random things, from stuff I did this week:
I think that's my week in a nutshell. It was relaxing, at the very least.
Random things, from stuff I did this week:
- The Babylon 5 Season 3 credits may just be the best TV credit sequence, ever. I'd forgotten how much I loved them, but the music and imagery are a perfect fit, and I can't help singing along. ... "our last, best hope for peace. It failed. Buh buh BUUH, buh buh BUUH...."
- Don't read Janet Evanovich in a public place. Ever. I was reading To the Nines on the plane on the way back to Toronto, and the person sitting next to me was getting a huge kick out of watching me burst into laughter and then try to stifle it before anyone noticed.
- I think I've lost my patience for huge fantasy epics with umpteen points of view. ( more ) Although, this aversion to multiple POVs may not be new, now that I think about it. It's why I don't read Robert Jordan or Terry Goodkind, as well.
- Surprise parties are fun.
- Golf can be fun, too. I played with Mom & Dad, and shot a 98. 'Course, that was only 9 holes...
- Newfoundland weather sucks the big one.
