I was in Toronto this weekend, helping amarylliss move house. When the van arrived, we all got excited and carried stuff outside. Got it packed in the van, turned around, and were greeted with the exclamation "We just locked ourselves out!"
It was a 6-apartment building, and luckily, within five minutes, one of her neighbours had come down to the front door. It was just coincidence, though, because apparently his doorbell (one of the six we'd been ringing furiously) doesn't work.
