I think I might watch too much TV...
Tonight was nice. With sweeps being over, I actually didn't even turn on the TV tonight, for the first time in much too long. Instead, I spent the night catching up on some reading. I finished Guy Kay's new book The Last Light of the Sun, read a Preacher collection, did my dishes, and generally just puttered around, listening to music.
Unlike some people on my friends list, I had a crazy-busy day at work today, so the night of complete downtime was kinda nice.
I think I need to start turning the TV off more often.

How was the Kay book?

But nothing for me will match The Summer Tree There's something about the intensity that goes with being 15 years old and falling head-over-heels in love with a character in the book (Diarmuid dan Ailell, in this case) that's a little hard to match once you've grown past, well, puberty. Kay will always be one of my favorite writers, just on the strength of that reaction.

Or, y`know, borrowing it off someone who`ll be at Ad Astra, and then likely in Ottawa a week later for Easter...

Hm... I think I would appreciate you bringing your copy to Ad Astra...
And, we'd have to arrange to meet up in Ottawa for me to give it back to you. And, I could show off my house, and wall-o-books. :)

Ahhhhhhhhhh! We are cutting back significantly on our tv watching. But no tv. I don't think that would work. Especially for me since I like to watch a lot of sports.
And what about Buffy and Angel? You didn't/don't watch them?

Now, well, don't tell anyone but I get a friend to burn Angel to a CD for me, and we watch them whenever we get a chance to catch up. We're a few episodes behind right now. (Like on episode 10 of the current season.) But, we still watch it together.
Otherwise, nope, I don't watch tv.
