So, M's involved in the Alaskan Malamute Help League, an organization for helping owners deal with big dogs, and helping to find new homes for the dogs when the owners can no longer deal with them.

Their main fundraiser for this year (in this part of the country, anyway) is something called a Pac'N'Pull, which happens at a trainer's house out somewhere near Peterborough. I've somehow agreed to go to this year's, which happens this weekend.

So I'm off to the wilds of Peterborough, Ontario, on an unseasonably cold, wet weekend. I'll be spending all weekend outside, but M's got a cab on the back of his truck, so if it gets too bad, Mayhem (one of the dogs) & I will be under some blankets in the back of the truck, while M & Havoc (the other dog) are out socializing and competing.

At least we're no longer planning on actually camping on the site, but have a hotel room nearby instead.

Actually, I think it'll be a fun weekend. I'm just afraid that I'm going to freeze
