Does the fact that the very thought of braving Yorkdale on a Saturday afternoon in December to look for Christmas gifts for my family exhausts me make me a scrooge? Or does it make me ... sane?

Maybe I'll find just do my shopping in this neighbourhood. Malls = scary!

Sane, sane, sane, sane, sane. No one in their right mind braves the malls in December (particularly a December weekend) unless it's absolutely necessary.

Heh. Yeah, I decided against braving the mall. I believe I will be going one evening this week instead. I hope I can get it all finished off in one fell swoop, then. *g*

Definitely sane.

Malls in general = not fun.

Yorkdale in general = busy not fun.

Malls in December = stupidly busy not fun.

Yorkdale in December = Danger Danger Will Robinson!

Yup...the boy and I cast our votes for "sane"...since we spend 3 hours or so today at Hillcrest (which actually wasn't SO bad.)

Still have a couple of more gifts to buy...but I am getting there....

I agree with all the above. Try at all possible to visit them during the week, evenings seem to work okay. Otherwise, stick to weekend mornings just at the malls open. Otherwise avoid if at all possible.

Yeah, I decided Wednesday night would undoubtedly be a better plan than Saturday afternoon. I probably would have spent an hour just looking for a parking spot if I'd tried. *g*

So, I'll be out shopping my one free night this week. Having a class on Tuesday and Thursday is not necessarily a great idea, this time of year.
