This is ridiculous...

Cleaning before my mother shows up at my place is kinda what I do, but this is crazy, To do tonight:

• Clean the bathroom
• Vacuum the bedroom, moving all the furniture
• Scrub the bathroom floor
• Vacuum the lampshades
• Vacuum the couch
• Move boxes down to the storage area I now have storage, Yay!
• Unpack more boxes, now that closet space in the apartment is freed up
• Clean out the kitty litter
• Vacuum the main room
• Mop the floors
• Wash the dishes
• Go to the grocery store for bread and pop

I can't remember ever working this hard at housework in my life... I doubt I'll make it to the grocery store tonight, though. I think I'll probably go lunchtime tomorrow.

What is it about having my mother stay with me that makes me crazy? Maybe she needs to come more often, and my apartment would not get as dusty. *g*

ETA: DONE! And just in time to watch The Nine. Woo-hoo!

I'm sorry I didn't make it - the hour I took moving stuff down to the storage locker (Whee! Storage!) kinda put me pretty far behind on the night.

But yeah, I got a lot done last night. I now actually have an apartment that looks mostly like an apartment, rather than a place where all my stuff is, y'know? If I could just figure out how to hang pictures on the damn concrete walls, I'd be all set.
