Humph

I'm finally getting around to buying my airline ticket to travel home Christmas time... and the stupid website won't let me! Worse, it fails at different points in the process each time I try, and I really don't want to re-enter in my CC number until I'm sure it really didn't charge me the last time I tried.

Argh!

Well, prices haven't moved in the last week, and the (direct) flights I want are still available, so hopefully I'll be able to book it later. Still, it's a little irritating.

Are you doing this through the Air Canada site? I have had issues with it on my work computer because of Java version issues. It seems to work fine on my home computer.

Yeah, I am using the Air Canada web site. I'll try from home tonight, and hopefully it will work better then. Thanks!

BTW, I have gotten right to the end of the booking process and had it fail, and have never had a problem with it going through on my credit card incorrectly.

What about just calling them and buying it over the phone?

Calling is a good option, especially if you are worried that your cc info may be floating in cyberspace somewhere. They can track it down and make sure it isn't. On the other hand, calling usually takes more time. Good luck with whatever you do.
