I just picked up my work e-mail to find that the company I work for is donating $2 for every $1 an employee contributes to the Tsunami Disaster relief fund (they're doing a collection at work, and will double the total for the corporation donation). Only problem is, I've already made donations. They want to make a nice big "On behalf of emplyees and owners" donation, so I don't know if they'll match what I've already given, or not.

I think I'll bring in my receipts on Monday, and see if they'll match that. Or, I guess I'll give them some more money. I wanna encourage this sudden generousity they're showing...

I guess it depends on why they're doing it. If they're trying to encourage people to give, then maybe they won't match donations you've already made. But if they're just trying to do some good, maybe they will. Good luck convincing them anyway.

I don't now why they're doing it, either. I hoping it's just cause they wanna do the right thing, in which case they should match me, as well. I'll hope, anyway.
