That was fun!

M & I went to see Spamalot yesterday.

It was a lot of fun. I laughed, I cheered, I sang along at the end. 'Twas all good. I'd tell everyone to go, but I believe the last performance here in Toronto is tonight's. If you get a chance, though, go see it!

One of these days I'll learn how to write a real review...

On a side note, I have a vague memory of the rude French knights in a movie or TV show where they're, like, 3 inches tall. Two bickering knights (or something), throwing those insults back and forth at each other. (Your father smells of eldarberries!). M thought I was crazy, since I thought that was actually in Monty Python & The Holy Grail. Anyone else have any memory of that? What could I have seen that in?

Not only is the last show today, but it's at 2 o'clock today. There doesn't appear to be anything evening performance on Sundays.

I can't tell what movie contains what, but you father smells like eldarberries sounds like the exchange they had when they built the giant rabbit trying to get into the castle. The guards at the castle were exchanging insults with the guys on the ground. "Your mother was a hamster!" or "I fart in your general direction." LOL That was great stuff! I want to say I think you're right about it being in The Holy Grail.

I wish I could've caught this when it was in Chicago. I know I would've loved it! *G*

Rats. I checked. No tickets left.

Too bad. I've been meaning to get to Spamalot. I hadn't realized how soon it was closing.

I suspect you might be thinking of the pixies in "Willow". Unfortunately I can't recall any quotes... They're not knights, but they do have thick quebecois accents.
