I have found that thin cotton gloves, normally used for touching historical documents, allow me to type in a cold room. Latex gloves would be even better, but not breathable.

(It's been a problem here for weeks. My apartment's main heating unit is in the shop, waiting for parts. The baseboard heaters are only adequate for some rooms, only if I keep the door closed.)
