Countdown to New Year's

Accomplished this evening:

1.Make trifle Well, mostly - I still have to do the whipped-cream topping, but that shouldn't be done before tomorrow, anyway.
2. Make veggie dip
3. Cut up veggies to go with veggie dip.
4. Make spinach dip.
5. Dishes.

I'm just too tired right now to do the veggie stuff. Hopefully, I'll get the spinach dip made tomorrow morning before heading off to work. The veggies I can wash & cut up once I get out to M's tomorrow afternoon.

Why did I think this party thing would be a good idea? :-) I guess I should be grateful it's not actually at my place, so that I don't have to clean, as well.

I'm sure it'll be fun, omce everyone gets there, and I no longer have to worry about getting food ready. It's just getting to that point that stresses me...

The good news is, in my travels through various grocery stores today, I found one that's still carrying Chapman's Cappucino frozen yogurt. Yay! I didn't think they were making it any more - most stores don't seem to be carrying it.

Thanks for the offer, but I think everything's under control. I'm running a little late (natch), but I already have the veggies, & I figure I can clean and cut them up once I get out to M's, right?
